XL Citadel

Finally, 150km tall Keepstar is the largest of the Citadels, and is probably one of the biggest playable objects in game at this point yay. It’s essentially a very high end corporate HQ thing, a corporate stronghold, the Deathstar of Eve, which hopefully shows in it’s chunky “space fortress” design. 

This thing is able to dock the biggest ships in the game (the famous Titans of eve), so the supercapital hangars ended up being a central element of the structure. In a way the entire station is designed around supercapital hangars, which in turn are designed around titans, as we were trying to design it in a way that would make sense scale wise. It’s really cool how if you try to build a consistent universe things in it can start to inform each other in these very real life-like ways. It’s probably even more pronounced in something as close to the definition of a virtual world as Eve.
